Each spring, the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district. Since the Artistic Discovery competition began in 1982, more than 650,000 high school students have participated.
COMMUNITY ACTIVITY
Palettes, Popcorn, & Punch
Parents, staff, and students! Bring your friends out for a fun night of painting by following a local artist in producing your own masterpiece. Nibble on gourmet popcorn by Daniel’s Chocolate and take home a great memory. Tickets are only $25.
