Course Description

The AP Program is an art course and production of an AP portfolio in the field of 2 Dimensional artwork. The AP Studio Art portfolios are designed for students who are seriously interested in the practical experience in the art world.

Students will submit a portfolio for evaluation in April. The AP Studio Art Program consists of drawing, painting, print making and any form of mark making, and other forms of media  This course is equal to any corresponding college foundation courses. AP Studio Art students will create a portfolio or body of work to demonstrate their artistic hand skills, their aesthetic, and their procedures in producing, developing, refining, and applying over the course of the year.
