Course Description

This one-year art foundation course is designed to provide a basic understanding of the Elements and Principles of art as emphasized through the production of art, the study of art history, aesthetics, and art criticism.  It will also provide the skills and problem-solving techniques needed for advanced classes offered through the Visual Art Program at Basic High School. This course will fulfill one elective credit required for graduation.
